브라더스 포(The Brothers Four)는 1957년 결성된 미국의 포크송 그룹입니다.

1960년에 그린필즈(Greenfields)가 히트되면서 인기그룹의 반열에 오르게 됩니다.

미국의 1960년대 가장 유망한 그룹으로 선정되기도 하였던 '브라더스 포(The Brother Four)"

그룹은 "킹스톤 트리오(Kingston Trio)"와 "라임리터즈(Limeliters)"와 함께 포크리바이벌 부분에서

스포트라이트를 받는 그룹으로 성장하게 됩니다.

Home to the green fields and me once again

1957년 미국 워싱턴대학 재학생 4명으로 출발한 브라더스 포는 2집 그린필드가 미국 차트 2위를

기록하면서 대중성을 확보한 뒤 포크 부흥 운동을 주도하는 등 듣기 편한 미국 포크 음악의 

대명사로 자리매김 하였습니다. 1970년대 우리나라에서도 대학가를 중심으로 "Greenfields)"

"Try to Remember", "Seven Daffodils', 'Green Leaves of Summer", "Yellow Bird"등의 대표곡이

많은 사랑을 받았습니다. 특히 국내 인기 포크가수 양희은이 이들의 "Seven Daffodils"를 번안한

"일곱 송이 수선화"를 불러 더욱 알려졌습니다. 최근에는 홍콩스타 리밍 주연의 영화 "유리의 성"에

"Try to Remember"가 삽입되며 다시 인기를 얻게 됩니다.
